Sony PlayStation Showcase featured 6 notable announcements in 2023

REMOTE PLAY AND WIRELESS HEADSET WITH PROJECT Q
Sony is developing a portable device called Project Q, featuring an 8-inch screen. Designed for remote playing of PS5 games, the device resembles a fragmented Nintendo Switch with the DualSense controller. Additionally, Sony introduced its first official wireless headsets, which can be used with both the PS5 and PC.
RESIDENT EVIL 4 VR MODE INTRODUCED
A significant portion of the event focused on Resident Evil, which will undergo a major revamp this year, including the introduction of a VR mode for PSVR 2 games. The game developers stated that the VR mode is still in the development phase, and therefore, an official release date could not be provided.

RELEASE DATE ANNOUNCED FOR ASSASSIN’S CREED; PRE-ORDERS BEGIN
Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be released on October 12, 2023. The action game will be available on PS4/5, Xbox, and PC, with pre-orders starting at a price of 589 TL on Ubisoft’s official website.
BUNGIE RETURNS TO THE FIELD
Bungie, the game development company known for Destiny and Halo, is collaborating with the PlayStation studio to create a sci-fi shooter game. The game called Marathon is said to be available on cross-platforms, including Xbox and PC, not exclusive to PlayStation.
METAL GEAR 3 REMAKE VERSION IS COMING
Confirming the long-standing rumors, Konami announced that they are developing a remake version of Metal Gear 3: Snake Eater, originally released in 2004. The action-packed game aims to stay faithful to the original storyline and dialogues, but the release date is yet to be announced.
RELEASE DATE ANNOUNCED FOR SPIDER-MAN 2
During the event, Sony unveiled an extended trailer for Spider-Man 2, the new game in Marvel’s Spider-Man series. While an exact release date was not provided, it was announced that the game would launch in the fall of 2023.
